Poker Career: Bankroll Tycoon is a single-player game with no account, no sign-up and no personal data collection. This page explains exactly what is and isn't stored, for both the website and the iOS app. Effective 16 July 2026.
Your game save
Your career is saved only on your device — in your browser's local storage on the web, and in the app's private storage (included in your device's iCloud/device backup) on iOS. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing browser data, or deleting the app, deletes the save.
Anonymous analytics
To understand how the game is played and improve it, we collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics — events like "a tournament was finished" or "a lesson was opened", plus coarse technical context (device type, country). This is done with PostHog, hosted in the EU.
Analytics are keyed to a random identifier generated on your device. It is not your name, email, phone number, IP-derived profile or advertising id, and we have no way to connect it to you. We never collect names, emails, contacts, precise location, or any content you type. On the website, analytics requests are routed through our own domain; on iOS they go directly to PostHog's EU servers. Legal basis (UK GDPR): legitimate interest in understanding and improving a product you're actively using.
Optional email (web only)
If we ever show an email box (e.g. "tell me when the iOS app is out") it is strictly optional, never gates play, and the address is used only for that one purpose and never sold or shared. The game is fully playable without it.
What we don't do
- No ads, no ad tracking, no data brokers, no selling or sharing of data.
- No real-money gambling: chips are virtual, nothing can be bought, won or cashed out.
- No third-party social logins, no cross-site or cross-app tracking.
Your choices & rights
Because analytics are anonymous we cannot look up "your" data — there is nothing on our side that identifies you. Deleting your browser data or the app removes everything stored locally. If you have any privacy question or request, contact semih84@gmail.com and we'll help. If we ever change this policy, the new version will appear at this address with a new effective date.
